Welcome to Beacon by Ava.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Beacon by Ava website, platform, applications, and related services provided by Oasis Social Inc. d/b/a Beacon by Ava ("Beacon," "we," "our," or "us").

By accessing or using Beacon, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you may not use our services.

1. About Beacon by Ava

Beacon by Ava is a technology platform that helps connect customers with independent mobile service professionals.

Beacon provides tools that may include:

  • Service request submission

  • Customer and professional communication

  • AI-assisted support through Ava

  • Scheduling coordination

  • Service updates

  • Payment and invoice processing

  • Marketplace features connecting customers and professionals

Beacon does not directly provide most services requested through the platform. Services are performed by independent professionals who operate their own businesses.

2. Independent Service Professionals

Service professionals available through Beacon are independent contractors and are not employees, agents, partners, or representatives of Oasis Social Inc. or Beacon by Ava.

Beacon does not guarantee:

  • Availability of any professional

  • Specific pricing

  • Quality of workmanship

  • Completion time

  • Results of any service

Customers are responsible for evaluating and selecting service professionals.

Service professionals are responsible for:

  • Their own licensing and qualifications where required

  • Their own insurance requirements

  • Their own business operations

  • The services they provide

3. Using Beacon

When using Beacon, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information

  • Use the platform only for lawful purposes

  • Respect service professionals and other users

  • Not misuse, disrupt, or attempt to damage the platform

  • Not provide false information or impersonate another person

We reserve the right to suspend or restrict access for violations of these Terms.

4. Ava AI Assistant

Beacon uses artificial intelligence technology known as Ava to assist customers.

Ava may help with:

  • Gathering service information

  • Answering questions

  • Coordinating appointments

  • Providing updates

  • Assisting with communications

  • Supporting marketplace interactions

Ava responses are generated with automated technology and may not always be accurate.

You should verify important information before making decisions based on Ava's responses.

5. Service Requests and Agreements

Submitting a service request through Beacon does not guarantee that a professional will accept the request.

Any agreement for services is between the customer and the independent professional providing the service.

Beacon may assist with communication, scheduling, and payments but is not a party to the service agreement between customers and professionals unless explicitly stated.

6. Payments and Fees

Payments may be processed through third-party payment providers.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate payment information

  • Authorize applicable charges

  • Pay all agreed amounts for services requested

Beacon does not store complete payment card information.

Additional fees, deposits, cancellation charges, or payment terms may apply depending on the professional or service requested.

7. SMS Communications

By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages from Beacon related to your account and service requests.

Messages may include:

  • Appointment confirmations

  • Service updates

  • Professional arrival notifications

  • Invoice information

  • Customer support communications

Message frequency varies.

Message and data rates may apply.

You may opt out at any time by replying:

for assistance.

SMS consent is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.

8. User Content

You may submit information through Beacon, including:

  • Service descriptions

  • Photos

  • Files

  • Messages

  • Reviews or feedback

You grant Beacon permission to use submitted information as necessary to operate, maintain, and improve the platform.

You remain responsible for content you submit.

9. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Use Beacon for unlawful activities

  • Attempt unauthorized access to systems

  • Interfere with platform operations

  • Upload malicious code

  • Misrepresent your identity

  • Collect information from users without permission

  • Abuse communication features

10. Intellectual Property

All Beacon branding, software, designs, content, and technology are owned by or licensed to Oasis Social Inc.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse engineer any part of Beacon without written permission.

Beacon by Ava and Ava are trademarks or brand names associated with Oasis Social Inc.

11. Third-Party Services

Beacon may integrate with third-party services including:

  • Payment processors

  • Communication providers

  • Hosting providers

  • Analytics providers

  • Professional service providers

Those services operate under their own terms and policies.

Beacon is not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

12. Disclaimers

Beacon provides the platform on an "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Beacon does not guarantee:

  • Uninterrupted availability

  • Error-free operation

  • Accuracy of information

  • Results from services provided by professionals

Beacon does not guarantee the actions, conduct, qualifications, or performance of independent professionals.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oasis Social Inc. d/b/a Beacon by Ava shall not be liable for:

  • Indirect damages

  • Lost profits

  • Service disputes between customers and professionals

  • Property damage caused by independent professionals

  • Personal injury caused by third parties

Your use of Beacon is at your own risk.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oasis Social Inc., Beacon by Ava, its affiliates, employees, and partners from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of Beacon

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your interactions with other users

  • Your submitted content

15. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts if:

  • You violate these Terms

  • You misuse the platform

  • Required by law

  • We determine activity creates risk to Beacon or users

You may stop using Beacon at any time.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically.

Updated Terms become effective when posted.

Your continued use of Beacon after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

17. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict of law principles.
